Dr. Sarah Scharf,
Chiropractor
San Anselmo Studio Director
As a Family Wellness Chiropractor, Sarah is honored to connect people to their own magnificence and health potential. A graduate of Life Chiropractic College, Sarah has studied BioGeometric Integration, an approach designed to reconnect the body to itself, involving soft tissue and breath integration prior to structural adjustments. The BGI approach allows Sarah to approach people in a truly holistic manner, knowing that the body is made of an intricate web of physical and energetic connections.
Sarah cares for people of all ages, from newborns to great-grandparents, those that are well and those who strive to be healthy. Essentially, she cares for people who crave more life in their life.
Sarah’s training also lies with families, pregnant moms, and pediatrics. Trained specifically in prenatal care, she recognizes the importance of chiropractic care during a pregnant woman’s journey, allowing as much freedom and flexibility in her spine and pelvis as possible to allow for an easier, less painful or traumatic delivery for both mom and baby.
It is Sarah’s mission to serve her community in supporting the connection of the physical, emotional and spiritual bodies. She believes that through this connection, true healing, growth and evolution takes place.
Kevin Whelan, CMT
Kevin Whelan HHP is now happy to be offering massage services at Flourish Chiropractic Studio. With 8 years of experience in the holistic health field, his varied background includes working with geriatric patients, as an intuitive counselor/coach, a Reiki teacher, an energy worker and of course as a massage therapist. He graduated from Bodymind College in 2003. The focus of his studies there consisted of developing a deeper connection with himself through multiple personal growth processes and direct experiences, in addition to book learning and technical skills. He also learned about body psychology including how and where belief systems are stored in the body, emotional facilitation methods and breath work. From there he spent a few years receiving extensive intuitive and energetic training primarily rooted in the Western Mystery Traditions.
Although trained in a variety of modalities, his massage style has been described as slow deep tissue with pressure points and a blend of energetic work. He specializes in Swedish, Deep Tissue, Therapeutic, Sports Massage, Reiki and Subtle Energy Work. He would be happy to work with you and help you move forward in the direction of living and experiencing optimal health.
