Pre-Massage Consultation
We take an individually tailored approach to massage therapy that addresses your unique condition and needs. Each treatment begins with a review of your initial questionnaire and a general assessment to determine areas of restriction and tightness. Please mention any special conditions so your therapist can maximize the effectiveness of the session.
For extra time devoted to particularly problematic conditions, we highly recommend a 90-minute session.

Swedish Massage - light to medium pressure
This European technique uses long, fluid strokes to calm the body, settle the mind and restore lost energy. It is gentle, soothing and emphasizes relaxation.

Sports Massage - medium to firm pressure
A more vigorous stroke is used to reduce muscle tension, relieve swelling, enhance circulation and promote flexibility. A treatment especially designed for pre- and post- athletic events and is used to alleviate the tension that accumulates during physical activity. Stretching may be incorporated.

Deep Tissue Massage - firm pressure
Deep, intensive holds and releases stimulate blood flow to restricted areas and relieve knotted muscles that are unable to fully release on their own. Ideal for severe or chronic muscle tightness. Some soreness might result after treatment.

Custom Massage - varied pressure
Utilizing a combination of several massage techniques, your therapist will create a unique treatment specifically for you. Modalities may include swedish, shiatsu, trigger point release and passive stretching.

Premium Massage Treatments
Stone Massage
A therapeutic treatment utilizing the application of hot and/or cold basalt river stones of varying sizes to key points on the body to create improved circulatory flow. This allows for a more intense manipulation of the tissues than with traditional massage. We allow each therapist to be creative in the individual styles of this treatment.

Pre-natal Massage
A relaxing treatment tailored specifically to alleviate the physical discomfort and fatigue related to the changing bodies of pregnant women. Trained therapists adjust their techniques to help improve circulation, diminish back and hip pain, relieve headaches, reduce leg cramps and swollen ankles and promote overall relaxation. Only available after first trimester of pregnancy.

Shiatsu Massage
This traditional, Eastern healing method relies on pressure and stretching to relieve blocked energy. The palms, fingers, thumbs, knuckles, elbow, knees and feet are used to work along the body's meridians or energy channels to help balance energy flow and strengthen the vital organs. Please wear loose, comfortable clothing during your session.

Reflexology
This eastern technique is based on stimulating specific pressure points on the hands and feet that correspond to other areas and organs of the body. Used to help restore and maintain the body's natural equilibrium by improving circulation, detoxification, and reducing tension.

Cranio-Sacral Therapy (CST)
A non-invasive, holistic approach to facilitate and enhance the body's ability to heal and regulate itself. The therapist uses very light touch to evaluate and balance the craniosacral system in the body, which include the cranium, spine and sacrum that are connected by a continuous membrane of connective tissue that also encompasses the brain and central nervous system.

Targeted Massage Therapy
Our targeted massage therapy program allows you to receive enhanced therapeutic benefits in a short amount of time and is perfect for those on a tight schedule. Choose up to three specific areas of your body (e.g. calves, hamstrings and lower back) for specialized therapy.

Chair Massage
Ideal to have in conjunction with a chiropractic adjustment, this quick tune-up is performed in a specially designed massage chair and emphasizes the neck, shoulders and upper back.
